Job descriptionFor our client we are searching for an experienced Senior Planner/brand
strategist. As an agency they have a long tradition of smart thinking and deep
insights as basis for our work. When talking planning and strategy they not
just scratching the surface – they dig really, really deep. And they do it by
asking, investigating, thinking and challenging the conventional wisdoms in the
market. NEVER trust statistics and surveys blindly and rather talk to people,
on the floor, face to face, than rely on 2nd hand data. Tasks: ·
Start developing planning team in the Shanghai office heading existing
staff and taking lead on recruiting additional team members ·
Get your hands dirty. Being Senior planner is not a management job but
a daily engagement with consumers, creatives and clients ·
Challenge clients on their understanding of strategy and insights and
fight for the best solution, not just what the clients expect ·
Develop and present positioning, messaging and advanced communication
strategies ·
Support the creative team, win awards You: · Are smarter than
the rest! You know REAL insights are not the digest of statistics. Sometimes
talking to one person will leave you smarter than reading surveys covering a
thousand people · Are very, very,
very good at thinking in concepts and big ideas and you ALWAYS see the big
picture without losing sense of details · Are ready to engage in dialogue with clients to push and develop their
insights and understanding of market and strategy ·
Understand that

provoking communication ·

more than 5 years of experience probably from another independent advertising
