Project Manager

Our client has a robust experience in many logistics processes, including inbound logistics, after-sales service support, finished goods distribution and reverse logistics. They support customers with proven solutions in industries ranging from automotive to high tech.

JOB DUTIES:

·         Facilitate project planning workshops, team meetings and stakeholder updates/presentations.

·         Ensure L-NPI compliance.

·         Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs.

·         Mitigate project risk by identifing, managing and/or implementing the approved actions.

·         Monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders.

·         Coordinate the execution of the tasks as defined in the project plan.

·         Create a project organization structure and develop and execute the communication plan.

·         Record detailed customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders.

·         Build team cohesiveness, leading, mentoring, training, and motivating.

·         Communicate information and ideas verbally and in writing so others will understand.

·         Identify and facilitate L-NPI oportunities for continous improvement in L-NPI process, tools and templates.

This postition may require regular travel in conjunction with client’s requirements.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

Minimum

·         Bachelors degree, preferably in Logistics/Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business

·         5+ years Caterpillar experience

·         Highly proficient in Accountability, Communication (oral and written), Interpersonal Skills, Leadership, Planning and Organizing, Decision Making and Teamwork

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Project and other MS Office applications

Desired

·         Experience as Black Belt, Functional Project Team leader and/or L-NPI Coordinator

·         PMI certification (CAPM or PMP)

·         Experience in supply chain/logistics

·         Previous Commercial or Client facing experience

·         Previous start-up / implementation experience

This is a full time position and remuneration is based on experience.
